Friday- 530 SS. Mactaquac loop

Saturday- 0830 SS Group decide.

This weekend is the Duncan Hadley Tri/Du. The Radical Edge has convinced the Cervelo rep to come to Fredericton for a couple of days and he's bringing Demos! He'll have 11 bikes of different sizes and flavors. We plan on doing test rides on the Sunday after DH and on Monday we are doing a group ride with him and the bikes. We'd love to have any OSBers along for the group ride and any of those who are interested in trying out a Cervelo, email us radical1@nbnet.nb.ca or call 459-3478 and reserve a bike for the ride.

I know who Cavendish is. I have a question and a comment. Are ther two many syllables in the proposed handle? If so I wonder if we might ot shorten it to 'Dish. It may also keep him out of trouble whenhis family asks whta his nickname is.

Mayo said...

I would have to agree with Rat! Cavendish maybe a little too much. "Dish" has a little zing to it!

Hey Turbo or others: I am in for morning ride and breakfast. Between (8am-noon) Weather permitting Any takers?????

turbo said...

Wednesday, I game for a morning ride. I have a small work issue i have to clear first. but 8-830 should work out.

Well I think I am one vote short of it being official.

It appeared as though I was alone for the Monday night ride (or late). Rode Maugerville, Burton Bridge, Oromocto and back in. Rain held off. And since no-one was around to verify, I'll say the average was 45 km/h.

I'd be up for a ride on Wednesday morning. Might not do the whole thing, as I have Duncan Hadley on the weekend.

I waited 'til after supper to ride and let the roads dry out. I am going to work tomorrow morning, Tuesday, leaving my house at 7:30, passing the Irving near the Ramada at 7:45, anyone interested.
Plus, as far as Wednesday, I would ride up to Woodstock or beyond. Depending on the weather to be picked up or stay overnight and ride further the next day. It would all depend on the forecast (sic). Anyone interested email me.

If I can get away from work a lil early Tuesday night, I'd be in for Wed AM ride.

zorro said...

Hey Do-nut what time can you make ride weds morning? We can delay start time.

Rat said...

Well, it was a great biking year, altho short. I look foward to maybe a longer season next year. Turbo, when does the GOP start up?

Ally said...

Rat, where is Bubbles? I haven't heard back from her. Ally

Bubbles said...

I'm right here!! I'm up for a Wednesday morning ride. I'm easy re the time. I think Ally is in too.

Re the shortening of Cavendish...I think that's a great idea. I also think Rat needs a typing lesson. What is he trying to say??

Re Do-nut. I think we should use Zorro's spelling rather than doughnut. Rat will never be able to type it and it's cute spelled like that.

I am sure we will ride tomorrow and I can't wait. I had my very first Cookie ride on Sunday and it was great.(a little poem)

So we rode up to Woodstock. It started raining after Nackawic, just like the Sears ride. Firebird was in good spirits, so now he knows how it felt last Tuesday! We had a great lunch in Woodstock (now we know were to eat). The rain stopped and we road the old road to Hartland, Route 103. Crossed the covered bridge and waited out a shower at the info center. King, if you are reading this, check out my cyclist on my lawn. We left Hartland heading for Perth, however, a few K's out we could see the downpour up the road. Rather than get soaked again we turned around and road the old Trans Canada Hwy back to Woodstock. Once there, my son, Phillip picked us up and drove us to F'ton. Total 160 K's. It is great riding above King's Landing on the old highway, no traffic! It would be even nicer without the showers! It was great riding with everyone to King's Landing and thanks Jean Guy for waiting for me! Happy Canada Day everyone! What time is the ride tomorrow Turbo?

Turbo said...

Anyone familiar with "internettv2pc" site for its coverage of the tour? Is it worth it?

Anyone riding today? In the next hour or so?

Bubbles said...

Rat and/or I are planning to ride around 3pm. Who is interested in a ride and where should we meet? Stinky? Mayo? and anyone else who hasn't ridden yet today. We're thinking 50-60K. It was pouring on the Northside when we left the Duncan Hadley but clear here in New Maryland.

Congrats to Dish and Ally, Queen E and Mike Davis for great performances today. Inspirations all 'round.

Stinky, do you want to ride Bubbles today?

mayo said...

Going to leave around 2:30. I have to be back around 4:15.

Oh, you are sooo funny No Doubt, Where are you? Are you interested in a ride this afternoon? We promise, we won't drop you.

Firebird, I've been using Aliant's TV on my PC. Not the greatest quality but essentially free. They have a free month trial. You just sign up now and then cancel before the end of the month. That's what I've been using the last couple of years.

Stinky said...

Good one No Doubt. That cracked me up.
