I am in Halifax right now but plan on riding with you Thursday or Friday. It will be my last week of commuting with you. Back to school on Monday. Sigh!!!!
Forgot to mention this for those that were involved in the 'Park Incident' on Saturday.
I was at Skiff Lake on Sunday, and Mary and I decided to stop at the park on the way home so that she could try 'riding the elephant'.
Anyway, there were a couple of young kids there (not the same ones we saw on the bikes), and when Mary asked one of them if the elephant was strong enough to hold an adult, she said:
"Oh yeah. Yesterday there were a bunch of old people on bikes riding on our toys. They were even running up the slide."
I just got in from that exact ride. Although there is still some construction going on it is very doable and you should go ahead and ride it. From this week on, commuting will take place as before, meeting at 7:30 from MacLean's Sport on the northside. Today was a record commute with 6 riders, "WOW"!! Thanks, Rat, Firebird, Stinky, Deb & Donut for accompanying me to work! Who would have guessed, 6 to commute.
Smoothie, and everybody else who commuted this summer, thanks for the fun commutes. Who would have thought that biking could be that fun so early in the morning? You are the best! I will miss the commutes but I look forward to more riding during the school year.
Firebird, come join Mel and I on the Cabot Trail. We are going to have a blast.
I plan to ride at 800am from SS. I was thinking Dam, ridge, holyoke, tripp, B.C. for breakfast, 104,105.? Are you in for 800am SS Turbo? I am flexible on time and route.

Turbo, can I change my week to the week of Aug 30. I have a family committment Friday night and won't be able to ride or host that night.
