That's a better picture of Smoothie. The other one looked a little scary.

Can't wait for today's ride. I'm officially on vacation, after being on the pager for a week straight 24/7. The Hanwell is being resurfaced, and the paved shoulder is full of fine gravel in spots, and in others you are forced to go into the grooved pavement (you could pretend you're in the spring classics on the pave), or we could take the New Highway back?

Yes, I agree with Rocket. The Hanwell is a nightmare, or at least it was. I almost took a header there last week.
Alternate route on return pls.

When was the Hanwell ever good... Could do hanwell across deerwood and down carriage hill. Just a suggestion

Hopefully we will have a certain day for sizing but if you would like to get it done at your convenience then please call me. It's a limited time to try on the goods so don't delay.

Marisa and I want to invite all OSB riders to come over for a BarBQ following the Friday night ride. Come over to 434 Broad Street on Friday evening for some food and beer! The Friday night ride will start at my house to make this easier after the ride. There is ample room and facilities to change after riding. Come over and socialize, see you on Friday.

make it to Guelph, Traffic wasn't to bad. couple of fender benders near T O slowed down the pace. No bike but Brought the sneakers, I sure the Beverages and food will neutralize any fitness plans. PS- We plan to do kit sizing at the Ride N Ribs.
cheers,

That's my boy Fabian. Good to see the big man with this 2nd medal at the olympics. Check out the Canadian TT champ with a 7th place olympic finish!

Hi from Cromwell Conn.
I found out yesterday (at a local bike shop) that there is a recall on Look Keo pedals. Many of us have the models (classic, sprint and carbon) that are affected. I have the details on how to determine if your pedals are in the recall and on how to have your pedals replaced by look.

Just a reminder that the Tour de Sour Dough has been put off until the Fall, if not until next year.

So no TdS ride tomorrow.

If anyone else is riding, please post. I just found out my sister is coming to town with her family in the morning, so I won't be riding at all.

Thanks, Smoothie (and of course Mrs. Smoothie), for hosting the post-ride BBQ - the cold beer went down nicely indeed. A few thoughts... 1) If your feet aren't happy, the rest of you can't be, 2) "Lift and separate" is not for cycling shorts, 3) Some people have odd plans for chipmunk fur from roadkill 4) Team OSB cycling buddies are the best. Have a great weekend everybody.

I know that one of you wanted to know about Micheal Ball and his team last night. I thought it was in a magazine that I had seen something but it was on PEZ. Go to:
