Hi Leroy (Turbo),

I rode with OSB a couple of times last fall while visiting from Ottawa and I was wondering if I could join you for some group rides while I'm home over the next two weeks?

Thanks,

-Robert. (Ottawa Bob)

Hey Smoothy,

A commute in the am 0735 from McLeans if not raining or too wet a road?

Will check the weahter and roads then check with you if seems okay about 0700 call to your home.

Hello Rat and Smoothy,

I would like to join the commute if it goes. I'm in Marysville and can meet anyplace along Union or in the Point. Wet roads are ok with me, but I'm not a fan of pouring rain when it's almost freezing outside.

Rat & Ottawa Bob:
It is with great regret that I have an errand after work tomorrow and therefore, must drive to work. I am picking up a trailer to take "stuff" to my daughter in Ottawa to set up her new apartment on Friday. Of course I will be taking my bike for a couple rides while I am away. Commutes will resume next Wednesday. Until then, "see you on the road" Anyone want to visit Ottawa?

Sweet Indeed Turbo!!!!! Any takers for Fri SS530?

Laszlo said...

Rat,was that you I saw ripping by on the Woodstock road in the Radical Train? I swear they where doing 40K against a 35K headwind. I wish, I had juice like that :o) Maybe in my next life.

rat said...

Hey Laszlo,

yep it was but you may have noticed i was at the back to get maximum draft from those steeds in front.

I am up for a SS 530 ride for Friday. At this point should be okay, but will blog if something comes up.

@Laszlo
It does help having a long train to pull you around. Head wind on Maz Sett road was brutal, regardless of Gravy train.

Lazlo,

You were right, it was Rat in that Radical Train. Here is the email I received from No Doubt as he cancelled (AGAIN) our morning run this morning!

"I'm f'd.The plan was to have Mike take Kathy out and kick her ass the night before a run, not me! I'm tired, and my legs are fried. I'm sleeping in. BTW, Armitage is the man"

Go Habs Go.

No Doubt said...

That's it Bubbles, Saturday morning <4:30 pace. And Rat IS the man. One of the strongest riders we had out. Rat, is it possible you are still getting stronger every year? You're always welcome on the dark side anytime you want to stretch the legs :).

Fun weekend to all, away up North for some overdue family time.
KEEP IT GOOD!

I am in for friday 530ss, and suggest 900am from SS on Sat.

Jazz said...

A little Southside, Quac, Rocky Road, Kee Rd action tonight anyone? Bring a helmet sail...

Bubbles said...

I can't ride at 0900 tomorrow. Have to get Matt to Scout Camp. I'm interested in anything 1100 or after if anyone is up for a ride then.

And No Doubt...4:30 would be a rest day.

Herc said...

Bubbles, I might wait and go with you then. I'll email you in the morning

Hey Bubbs,

1100 would work for me as well, just finishing my last night in the morning so that will allow for a lil nap before the ride.. I'll check the blog in the morning when I get home from work to see what the plan is..

zorro said...

Hey Bubbs: I can do 11 as well. will see you at 11 SS. Great ride Jazz on fri, lots of hills and wind.

Team OSB said...

When is the club ride Saturday seems to be very dis-jointed Evil rides at 2 is that the ride I should go on?

Bubbles said...

I'll be at the SS at 1100. Dear "Team OSB" (AKA Evil Anon)...The Saturday OSB ride doesn't sound disjointed to me. Looks like 1100 as the SS. Ride with us or with the Evil Pansies at 2...your choice:) Doesn't matter who you ride with as long as you ride.

Stephen Dixon said...

Hey now... it's all good :-) Play nice.

Herc said...

see you at SS at 11am. going to be a great day for it

Better to be called a pansie than a weed! Just as Coach says; all in jest - its obvious to me that there are many more morons than just team evil.

Have good rides all around people.

Bubbles said...

Anyone have a route for this morning's ride?

Herc said...

Beautiful day to ride along the river, down maugerville Burton bridge? doesn't really matter to me as long as we are out

zorro said...

Any interest in Sunday afternoon ride, if weather is good? (50-60 k)

Stinky said...

If I don't go climbing, and if the weather is good, I would go for a ride.

zorro said...

Sunday 100 pm SS, weather looks good, any takers?

Bubbles said...

Probably going to take the day off today. If my legs perk up, I might be out at 1pm.
Where did everyone go yesterday? Donut, where you injured? NoDoubt, Steve and Zorro...did you go back over the dam? Alley and I continued out by Cookie's parents, along Sisson Sett.Rd and home on the highway. We had a great ride.
Marlene, how was the brick??

Omni said...

hmm ... I'll just arrived home last night, so will need to see if cycling at 13:00 is in my schedule.

Since Stinky want's to go climbing, does that mean Carriage Hill - Mazerolle - Rocky Rd ... or another trip out to Mount Hope(less) and Durham Bridge?

Marlene said...

Saturday Brick was good - improved times over 2 wks ago. Saw some of group en route flying with the wind toward town.
Long bike today.

Stinky said...

I am in for a ride at 1:00 at SS. And, not that kind of climbing Omni. Very funny!

zorro said...

See you guys at 100pm SS.

zorro said...

Hey Bubbles: Steve, no doubt and zorro went up tripp, up holyoke, across ridge, dam and back on south side.
P.S. No doubt laid the SMACK DOWN!!!!! Bubbles you will have to work him harder running.

Bubbles said...

Rat and Bubbles riding at 4:00 when Rat gets off work (short tempo). So, I won't be at the SS. Have a good one. What a day!

Donut said...

Hey Bubbs,

Only thing injured was my pride.. Haha.. That lil nap I sqeezed in after my nights wasn't quite enough for the head winds and No Doubt(AKA"Smack Down").. The tank hit empty when we got to Keswick..

Anonymous and VI You really need to get over the Break-up. Going on 2 years, (just let it go!!!) Life is about Choice's Make your's and live with it.
We are starting a new year of OSB and much prefer to focus on the positve and biking. We suggest you do the same.
A non reply is appreciated!
