Turbo, I think the tour is going to your head. It's not as easy as they make it look you know. "Team Time Trial Mount Hope"????

Belated Thanks to JG and Mark for the hospitality on Friday. Really enojoyed the ride back from Burton and also the high honour of riding with the Glamour Hammers.

TTT up Mount Hope? I love riding during the Tour. Don't anybody get hurt.

I was going to ride tonight, but TTT up Mount Hope would be too much for me.

Might see you on Wednesday.

Thank you very much for the spin this evening.
Sooo, what happened to me? You see, I am thinking of becoming Muslim; and around 16kms I thought I heard "call to prayer". I had to stop, find Mecca, and touch base with Allah.
By then you were all long gone.
So headed back home, and good thing, rain poured as I unclipped my shoes.
Hope to catch you again!
Marlene

was so glad you rode with us tonight. It was a great ride. We got caught on the way back for about 3km. Then the sun came out and had a good finish. I had a lot of fun. See everyone Friday.

Well...what a ride! Wow, that was huge work on the way to Mount Hope but alot of fun. You know what they say..if it doesn't hurt, you're not working hard enough!

Great to have you along Marlene and also No Show (Now I Show). Awesome riding. The offer is still open Marlene to ride my Madone if you like. It has a lot of pink on it too (colour for me is important).

And...what about Ally? Tough as nails.

I had a great ride with everyone tonight.

Kathy (AKA: B2)...would really like to try out your Madone. I will give a call thru day (Tuesday), if your number is in book. Seems I am getting depressed on the Marinoni.
Later....marlene

Wonderful Wednesday Wide, thanks to all for playing along. Stinky made sure the "Little" Giant was good for the occasional push, when required.

Yet another new Steed on the way. OSB is good for business

Thanks for slowing down for me tonight. That was painful, but fun. Is it sick that I associate painful with fun?

Damn! I missing all the fun #^&*%, nursing a cold....and to say just last weekend I was bragging that I had not had a cold in over 2 years...next time I will keep my trap shut. Happy trails to all!

Beijing Bubbles said...

Firebird, I'm sick with a cold too!! And I concur, it is frustrating. Next week, we'll be back at it!

I'm away in Alma this weekend and Rat is working so won't be out till next Monday!!

Have a great weekend of riding everyone.

Hey Mrs. Zorro, Ms Turbo for the Friday night spin. Weather will determine. hope to confirm by late afternoon.
Some thought on a long Long Saturday Gagetown Ride, Probably a later date (weather) would be a wise call.
Hope to ride early on saturday.

zorro said...

Hey Turbo: Maybe try Gagetown later in the year. If weather cooperates I am in for early Sat ride. (7-8) start ???

Mrs. Zorro said...

Hey Turbo: No spin for me tonight - I was supposed to get together with a pal home from Alberta last night but she called too late so we are doing supper tonight. Sorry Mrs. Turbo! I did the Mazerolle loop solo Wednesday evening - thankfully I had forgotten ahead of time how hilly it is! Saturday I'm in EdVentures all day & Sunday I leave for Scout camp. Zorro will be looking for hard rides (or beers...) to drown his sorrows until Wednesday! LOL

Ally said...

I am planning to ride tonight, if weather cooperates. I won't be out on Sat. a.m Off to Boston to see the Jonas Bros. Our son is a huge fan.

Well out here in New Maryland it is 100% humidity, you know that wet fog/mist. I know at the same time it was not mistin in town. I will be out for the SS at 530pm unless there is a deluge. The mist I can and have to handle. This will make Kathy proud as I am heading out in the rain.
I will leave my house by 5pm and ride in.If I am not ther by 535 I either had a flat or it or it is pouring down rain.

ally said...

I am so proud of you Rat. see you there. Pretty bad, Bubbles runs me into the ground in the morning and the way you ride, good grief. Like Stinky said, are we sick to love this much pain?

Mel said...

I loved the ride today and I even made it home without getting wet, bonus. It was looking bad for awhile!

Turbo said...

Game time decision for this puppy in the morning. will post the verdict.

zorro said...

I am in for 8am start from SS.
They are not calling for rain until afternoon. I will be there for 8am if dry.

Stinky said...

Great ride tonight. Got a little wet, but nothing serious. I was certain that we were going to get hammered with rain.

Ally said...

diddo. That was great. Thanks so much everyone for hauling my butt up those hills. I had a blast. see you Monday. I missed Bubbles tonight. Rat, if you are talking to her. Tell her to have a great weekend.

Laszlo said...

THANX for the awsome ride! I got wet, so I was out til 8,30. At least it was nice and warm. I think my rainjacket lost the magic. Wish I could join the morning ride!

zorro said...

Hey Turbo : The weather looks good,is the start time 8ooam at SS??
