I kept the limited daylight in mind when planning the rides but I may have pushed the limit of daylight. If some of these rides are too long, we may have to make adjustments to the routes. According to Weathernetwork.com, sun sets at 19:09 and twilight is until 19:30.

MTB ride? How about Saturday? The Tour of Elgin offers fabulous autumn foliage, a fun crowd, and tasty draw prize preserves. It's mountain biking, but mostly on dualtrack and fire roads, so fast, mostly non-technical mountain biking.

Hey Kelly: Adam, Jason, and i are planning to do Elgin. We hope to see some more faces from Fredericton.

Wednesday: "Where were you guys? I road the ride backwards since I got a late start and never saw one OSB rider?" Did anyone ride?

I rode solo too. Rode from New Maryland to the Y, was there quite a bit early (4:55), waited to 5:20 - no one showed up - so I spun off down Woodstock Rd. to the Tim's, turned-around, up Prospect, Bishop, then home to N.M. 28 km at a moderate pace. Short, but focused on a few things.

If anyone is interested in a MTB ride late Sunday afternoon, I'm hoping to get out and ride (parents are in town, depends what time they leave). Post here if you're interested. I would prefer IslandView or Woolastook.

Is anyone riding Friday night? we should meet at the Y at 5:15 to leave enough time to get a loop in. We can go to Ringo's after for beer if people are still in to that.

Christian Meier's probation period with Garmin is over aparently. Him and Tuft signed for 2 years! http://bikingbros.com/

NOTE: Friday Ride to start at 5:00pm. To keep it safe for daylight. I'm working.

Some of us have never left "still into that" going to Ringo's for beer.

please post if anyone is able to make it for 5pm. I can leave the Rogers office on Aberdeen at 5pm and hurry down. 5:15 would be better for me though

Hi to all those in Team OSB, Fredericton. I've been in touch with some of the members from the Fredericton cycling club. I'm from Wales, UK and will be coming over for two weeks from 16th October. We're considering moving to Fredericton next year and during our visit in October we're hoping to find out a little more about Fredericton. It would be great if I could have the opportunity to ride with you guys on one of your rides. Please can you advise on the best day to come along in terms of most scenic route and good work-out? I'll be bringing pedals and kit but will either need to borrow or rent a road/mountain bike. Any recommendations would be most welcome. Cheers, WelshMountie.

Cool! Sure would be nice to have someone from Wales to draft behind. You can open up the road for us anytime;-)
What is the plan for Saturday ride? Supposed to be nice and warm in the afternoon.

i'd be up for a saturday afternoon spin, Firebird i'll call you @noon to arrange

Anonymous said...

OK! I'll b at home.

Hi Turbo, Firebird and all! Thanks for replying. My email address is martyn_hd@onetel.com.
Drafting....lol...I was sort of hoping a good chain gang would be the order of the day:)
The main reason for our trip is as a "reccie". We've got so much to do like checking out schools and housing, seeking potential IT employers, etc. So, socialising and getting out on the bike would be a welcome break from all this stuff.
See you all in a couple of weeks.
