Man the riding here is awesome, evn with the wind. Great loops and the roads are really not bad, many in great shape. definitely a place to come perhaps an OSB weekend.
Hmmmm.....showed up for ride last night and luckily I like my own company. Is anyone at all interested in riding and beer tomorrow night? Vancouver Greg and I will be leaving at 5:30, doing a Quac Ridge ride and coming home for beers. 24 Pembroke Cres. Riders welcome.
Yes, Omni, there is a commute. Jazz, I will be riding to and from work so more riding at 5:30 is out but I did miss last week's social and would love a place to socialize since I start a week off tomorrow.

Twas a bad weekend for a social I guess. We'll still be riding if you're interested and we'll drop by the SS to see if anyone is there...but I'm going to hold off on the social - and the ticket giveaways - for another time! Have a great and safe long weekend everyone!

Interesting Friday ride. Coming in the highway a RCMP car stopped us and basically interrogated us for 10 minutes. Apparently the Team Evil ride at the same time had generated a complaint from a driver coming across the dam...sounds like a whiny driver!! Said they had impeded traffic by riding 3 and 4 abreast across the dam after having "jumped" ahead of the cars waiting, slowing down traffic and being nuisances. RCMP was very interested and wanted us to name names and Wasn't taking no for an answer. we played dumb, was easy for us, and off he went.
Thanks to Woody for suggesting to extending our ride today to occlude Gagetown (via Jemseg) for a total of 130 K's! I think we both extended ourselves! ( but only I went out for 18 holes afterwards). I hope you are tired, Woody!
Great rides for me on Friday night with Brent and Greg and then a great surprise extenda-ride with Smoothie out to Gagetown. This is the best reason I have for keeping an emergency $20 bundled with my spare tube. Smoothie lived up to his nickname as usual. Extend the morning ride to Gagetown.....no problem. Headwind all the way home.... no problem. Golfing in the afternoon...no problem.

Andrew told me the story.....apparently RCMP found Scar at the Y and chatted. The driver should get a life!
