Hey OSB xc ski enthusiasts, The woodlot will be ready for skate skiing this evening after work - say 6ish - and it's already good for classic. The groomers have just finished and the snow is very soft, so it really needs to set up before we ski on it. If classic skiers would wait until this evening to bring their dogs out, that would also be very helpful. (I think the club asks that dogs not be brought out at all, but anyway they do a lot more damage to the ski surface before it has set up.)

Someone decided to skate on the fresh surface while it was being groomed this afternoon. After attempting to chase him down in the Batmobile - er, snowmobile - for a 'chat,' the groomers spent 1/2 hour repairing the damage he'd done.

Happy skiing! It should be excellent.

What is the question? I don't have a clue what you are all talking about but if I did, I'm sure I would know the answer.

Don't worry about the question Bubbles... Word on the street is your having enough trouble Just staying out of the Snowbanks on your morning runs.

Are they Firebird's boots? Is he on his Hog?

Anonymous said...

I'll guess King on his hog?

Anonymous said...

Firebird on his bike (motorcycle) I see Cookie and No Doubt have their answers in early this morning...I was running.

Has Rat recoverred from his Bonk last night? Pretty bad when he gets dropped by me on skate skis :).

Anonymous said...

Rat is recovering slowly. As I recall from the last bonk, when I had to pull him through Douglas, it take him awhile.

Anonymous said...

Hmmmmm, are those my boots?

Anonymous said...

Scar agreeing that Firebird's Hog is bigger, faster and much louder than his !!!

Who is... Jazz?

Anonymous said...

Judging by the six pack, I'd have to say Jazz as well.

Anonymous said...

Say Jazz...Is that a banana in your pocket, or...?

Anonymous said...

I think it is Woody...if we could just see the legs!

Anonymous said...

Geesh you guys are Killing Me! Omni can you cut a cheque for a 12 pak, perhaps even a Flat. Will try to hold till NB Liquor unveils the New "Cheap Beer"
PS- Bubbles not enough "hair" for Woody. See Cookie for Full clarification. I think the vision still haunts him.

Thanks Bubbles! I'd like to think I cut that fine a figure but Turbo's got it right.....not enough hair.

Well the best ski conditions of the year (in my opinion) were good while they lasted. I dragged myself out of the house for one more ski before too much snow fell this evening. Even with <1 inch of snow, the glide was still awesome. I guess I'll actually have to spend some time in the saddle now while I wait for the trail to set once it's groomed again :(.

By the looks of how they are standing and the expressions on their faces, I'd say Miss Turbo is grabbing No Show's ass!

Anonymous said...

Either that or they are barbecuing ribs.

Anonymous said...

Not goin near this one ......I must say both are looking real umh Happy?

Kelly said...

Rex & Norman groomed the woodlot yesterday, and apparently it turned out great. Go ski before it snows Saturday!

The Boyz at the Playhouse are taking on a Big Challenge tonight. Just listened to Eagles "Hotel California" while cleaning the driveway. Awesome tunes.
