Anyone want to put in an OSB team (or two) for the Woolastook 5hr Mtn bike event? It's the weekend after Tour of Dogs.
I timed this event last year and it was huge fun for all participants. First time ever saw beer in the feed zone!

Super Monday ride, Scar, Jazz, Smoothy,Coach and Turbo. Kind of a blend of Mon/Wed/Fri Pace. Lots of scenery and winter worn roads.

Yup. This quintessentially quixotic quintet did a fine 50km on a spectacular spring Monday evening. The kind of Spring ride you dreamt about all winter. Good and varied pacing and no finer company either.
Potholes back!

Hey Jazz,
Sprockids is going to happen in some form, under a new name for this year. I will make sure something is set up before I go. Still hunting for a new leader...

Hey Sudsey,

That Woolastook event sounds fun but it is not on my "free" weekend. I still hope to do a MTB event or two this summer.

Club rides are well underway. We intend to register Team OSB with VeloNB by the end of the week. Please signup for your 2008 OSB membership and qualify for the VeloNB Team member rate. Hell, sign up anyway ;-)

I can smell it in the air... this is going to be a great season on the bikes!

Did you guys ride to Burtt's Corner and return via 105 Wednesday night? I rode the reverse hoping to bump into you and met Argon Bob but nobody else. What was the route?

Hey Smoothie: Thanks for coming out last night and letting me draft off your wheel into that nasty head wind. Much appreciated.

I started out @ 5:40 PM at Brookside and Ring Rd expecting to be overtaken. Was there a ride last night?

Sorry guys. Scar, Mitch, and I started out that way but we were a bit psyched out by that ride so we decided to bail and do just the Mactaquac loop.

I would like to be there this morning at 9 but sadly, I cannot. However, I will likely ride this afternoon around two when it is warmer (and my conference is over). Email or call if you wish to join me for a ride, Sailod.

Holy cow the blog is back! If you don't read it every day it takes about 20 minutes to catch up! Good to hear everyone is riding lots again. Don't forget we have the Tour de Dog TT and RR coming up Sunday May 18th. So if you plan on getting a full VeloNB licence, you should get your applications in ASAP to have them back in time. Just as OSB needs support in membership fees, VeloNB and the race organizers need $$ support to be able to keep these races going every year. Hope to see everyone soon.
