This weekend is the MS Ride for some of us. However, next weekend is the Canada Day, July 1st weekend! That means a ride and a social! As you know, I have moved to the river and the Canada Day fireworks take place right over my deck. What I would like is to invite all of OSB, spouses, friends and family to watch them from my place on July 1st. To make it a complete day we should ride in the morning. Let's meet at the parking lot in Nackawic at 9:00, ride to Woodstock on one side of the river then return on the other. Organize your own rides or call me. Try to wear something with a Canada Flag or Maple Leaf. Of course we'll stop for coffee in Woodstock, I'll check if the Fusion Cafe is open on Sunday. In the evening you are invited to my home around 7:00 for a pot luck supper. Let me know if you can bring something so we don't have too much of any one item. Then at 10:00 we'll enjoy the fireworks! Last year it was pretty cool as they go off almost directly overhead. RSVP to me, it will be great.

Poor Cookie, he scared the CRAP out of Jazz and I. We went back looking for him and as we approached Garden Creek School, we spotted someone lying beside a bike in the distance! Holy crap, WTF! We sprinted to his rescue only to discover that it was Cookie relaxing and waiting for Tracy to pick him up since his spoke popped! For awhile, we thought the worst! You had to be there! Don't do that again!
Beautiful ride this a.m., thanks, Andrew, Gary, Dan, Emily, and Dan's brother Dennis! Tomorrow's ride leaves from the parking lot on south side of Nackawic bridge at 9. Call me or email if you have questions. Or, just to let me know if you are coming.
Don't forget the social at my place after 7. Pot luck supper and fireworks at 10:30!
