First ride of the year outside. A good way to find out, how much I got out of shape. Hope the weather remains dry. :o)

Went for a skate ski in the morning and a road ride this afternoon. Yes, life is good. Especially during March break.

Turbo said...

looks like some potential riding weather on the weekend.

Smokin' weekend! Quac loop on Saturday and out and back on the old highway to Mazz Settlement w/ Queen E. on Sunday. The legs were pretty empty by the end of it though. Saw a few familiar faces out there rockin' the OSB kit as well. Great start to the season.

Anyone interested in an outdoor ride either on Wednesday or Thursday?

I can go anytime in the afternoon - should be 5 degrees or so (probably warmer on Thursday).

turbo said...

Unless work throws me a curve I'm in for thursday Dish. Can leave home @ 1pm. Assuming weather person, is correct.

Turbo said...

Friday also looks Great for a spin. Stay tuned.

Dish said...

Turbo, assuming weather stays good I'll be at your place at 1pm if that works. Let me know.

Anyone else?

Let the Games Begin!!!

Bubbles said...

You guys work???

Turbo said...

Yes... sometimes! We can't all go to Vegas, baby!

rat said...

Hey Guys! I am in for a spin today Thursday 1pm from the stepping stone. I work evenings so can ride in the day.

Dish said...

I'm in.

My days consist of about 14hrs of sleeping, 6 hours of drinking on the porch, and a few hours of exercise.

Any left over I dedicate to working. I'm pretty over committed at the moment.

Laszlo said...

You guys where way to early for me.I did a 3:30 pm Maq. loop. Not as warm as I expected, enjoyed just the same.

no doubt said...

I am finished work Friday at noon and could be ready to ride by 1pm. I'm interested in light spinning and coffee. Maybe even an oatcake?

Bubbles said...

No Doubt

Do you know no shame!! An oatcake?? What about "the plan" and "the program". I just had a Blizzard from DQ and I am now going to go to bed to let it work its magic.(the blizzard, not Rat). and you thought my morning muffin was a bad choice...

Laszlo said...

Hmmm... Rat as a muffin?? There is a new nickname!

Turbo said...

I have family down so my schedule is tight. plan to leave from home 12:30ish do mazz settlement/across Dam and down north side back home. Feel free to join in or meet up.

rat said...

How is the Mazz re holes and water?

20th Anniversary Jazz said...

Damn, for those of us who actually work 8:30 to 4:30, I can get out of here for 3 even, but not for 12:30! Anyone for later in the afternoon?

Turbo said...

Thanks for the great ride today Rat. One of my top two outings of the year. weather looks great for weekend. plan to be out, @ family stuff

No Doubt said...

Bubbles, yeah I don't know what I was thinking. Thanks for setting me straight about the oatcake. You'd better take it easy with the ice cream if you want to hang in there in NC. Last time I checked, your picture was hanging over Turbo's TV at the GOP. He said something about payback's a Bi*&%. Not sure what that's about :P.

Bubbles said...

Rat and I just returned from a great ride! We are planning to go tomorrow at 1200. Anyone else interested??

rat said...

Just a further note to a ride for Sunday. I think the Burton bridge loop is an idea leave from the Stepping Stone 12-1230. Those interested blog time prference. it is supposed to get windy later in the afternoon.
i plan on having my new ride for its maiden voyage.

Donut said...

Count me in Bubbles, just on my way home from Ontario now.. Where are you guys planning to leave from..

turbo said...

Sunday Ride:
posted it an they will come, Saw Rat pulling Bubbles Near Winners. Some things never change :-)

Dish said...

I'd be in for a ride tomorrow, but I have to be back home by about 13:15.

Could leave from SS at 11:30 if that works for you Bubbles and Rat?

Pebbles said...

Bubbles, don't listen to all that criticism. Keep eating ice cream and muffins. I am!
All,
Can't wait for NC. Still friggin cold in Edmonton, AB!

Bubbles said...

Turbo,

Here we go...You seem to have perpetual drafting issues. Geez, drop you a couple of times and you just can't get beyond it.

Pebbles, I'm eating and not training at all so you keep doing the same! It's best to stay in if it's cold outside. Frostbite is very dangerous. You should also bring your sneakers to NC just in case we need to "settle" anything off the bike.

Jazz said...

Suppose to both cloud over and get windy as the day progresses...How about 11:30 @SS Burton Loop ?

Turbo said...

Sorry Bubbles I just assumed it was you, Honestly I could only identify Rat, whomever was beHIND him only visible from the waist down. Looked like your shoes.
Lovely Tuck.
11:30 From SS ?

Bubbles said...

1130 it is!

Stinky said...

I am looking forward to biking with you. See you at 11:30. I think it is going to be chilly. BRRRR!!!

Herc said...

11:30, see you all then. Turbo, could you be so kind to bring my kit in

Pebbles said...

Bubbles,
I think I had left my OSB vest at your house, during the kit sizing. Please bring it to NC.

Have a great ride today :)

Turbo said...

Wonderful March 14th Ride. 7 strong.
Herc, Stinky, Bubbles, Rat, Donut, Dish, Turbo
Nice to be back out.

Bubbles said...

Great ride today!!! So fun to be out. But we seemed to be missing one rider...Do you have your clock changed now Jazz??

Pebbles, I will look for your vest. What size was it?
